Autumn, befriends a jaguar cub named Hope in the Amazon rainforest. After moving to New York City, she learns at 14 that her village is threatened by animal traffickers. Determined to save Hope, she returns to the rainforest with her clumsy biology teacher Anja to protect the wildlife and their home.
