U.S. Soldiers, assigned to the 130th Engineer Brigade, 8th Theater Sustainment Command, and contractors from Hornback Offshore Services conduct an autonomous vessel capabilities demonstration from the Island of Oahu to the Island of Hawaii, Aug. 17-18, 2026. The demonstration gave Army mariners the opportunity to see and test the semi-autonomous vessel, and gain insight on autonomous maritime capabilities within the Indo-pacific area of responsibility.
