For the first time in GP and Koch history, an autonomous drone system is being tested at Alabama River Cellulose (ARC), creating a safer, more consistent and scalable way to track progress across the site.
With resource constraints and more than 1,500 drone checks conducted by GP each year, this technology helps teams work smarter by providing leaders with more timely insights while freeing employees to focus on higher-value work.
The technology is a tool to help our people work safer, spend their time more effectively and give leaders better visibility into progress. The autonomous drone system is currently being tested at ARC, with plans to expand its use to other sites in the future.
