Many turning parts are modeled with sharp edges, but real-world manufacturing often requires edge breaks. Convex corners typically need chamfers, while concave corners need fillets.
In this example, I asked the Autodesk Assistant to analyze every body, identify convex and concave edges, and automatically apply the correct feature: a 0.5 mm chamfer to convex edges and a 0.8 mm fillet to concave edges.
The Assistant queried the chamfer and fillet APIs, planned the script, applied the features across the model, and produced the finished mixed chamfer/fillet result from a single prompt.
