By sensing the wet and dry condition of soil, this automatic watering system supplies water to the plants. This project uses a soil moisture sensor to sense the water humidity or dampness in the soil. Arduino measures the soil moisture level and turns on the relay when sensing is in dry condition. Relay output is connected to the dc pump motor which supplies water to the plants. This project will be helpful for potted plants and small plants in the garden when leaving them uncared in conditions like vacations etc.
