Automatically opening box containing an first print of the famous book of Isaac Newton "Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica" or Principia for short dating 1686. I build the box in a short week from salvaged scanner parts and a Arduino. Due to the heavy doors, the mechanism is pre-tensioned with a large spring. The box is situated in the exposition NewtonMania in the Boerhaave museum in Leiden.
