Today was historic for Los Angeles and for LAX! We broke ground on the Automated People Mover which, when completed in 2023, will reduce traffic in the central terminal area and flawlessly connect passengers from around the world with transit options that include a consolidated rent-a-car facility, parking and light rail. Thanks to Mayor Garcetti for helping us begin this transformational project!
