The OptiPro Revel™ robotic beveling machine allows you to automate beveling of optics, freeing technicians from performing this tedious task. Equipped with a FANUC CRX10iA/L cobot, the Revel performs two methods to apply bevels:
- Using a cup tool to perform the traditional method of applying bevels
- Traverse the part across a flat tool. This method enables beveling of round optics as well as squares/rectangles
The Revel features a blow-off station which helps remove coolant from the tool and part after edge beveling. A flipping station allows for edges of both sides to be beveled in one uninterrupted cycle.
