If you need to automate repetitive web tasks or scrape data from websites that block the regular HTTP request, then you will find Playwright extremely useful. In this tutorial, we are going to learn how to build a Playwright MCP server in Python so Claude Desktop can automate browser interactions, fill forms, navigate through websites, and extract data from JavaScript-rendered pages without being blocked by anti-bot measures.

PS: I see that many websites charge between $20-40 a month to add the browser automation functionality in Claude Desktop, which can be achieved for free with the Playwright MCP Server.
