it’s all ok
it doesn’t matter anyway
and when things go the way they do
it says nothing about me and you.
Say to me
what you will
improvise and then be still
and when things ease and fade away
it means you’ve solved another day.
You know, you know the lights
are not in view. There’s an
intervening hue that gives you
time to start again and turn to say
to me
it’s all ok
it doesn’t matter anyway
and when things go the way they do

This track was written as part of the 8 to create event at Maitland Art Gallery, where 35 artists were given eight hours to create works inspired by an exhibition of pieces in the galley.
