I took my girlfriend to see one of her favorite bands last November, and I now consider myself a fan as well!
Took me awhile, but I finally got around to covering one of my favorite songs from them.
I gotta say, this was one of the biggest vocal challenges I've taken on, not because of the vocal range (the song actually sits pretty comfortably within my register), but mainly because of the quick back and forth that the melody has for the majority of the song. It proved to be pretty tricky to land the notes, and still wasn't perfect in the end.
Oh, and I also strained my voice and gave myself a sore throat after doing about a dozen takes of that long sustained note at the climax of the song, but I finally got a take where I didn't run out of breath too early, so I'll live :)
Also, I'm super stoked to finally have upgraded to some nicer filming gear, so my videos are gonna be looking much nicer from now on👀
