Described from one source as being a "Czechoslovakian folk song", this one was published in the BBC programme, "Singing Together" in 1971 and 1979. The Czech (Bohemian) title is "Aj Lucka Lucka,"
Footnotes in the 1979 pamphlet read as follows:
The 'Hey!' is shouted, not sung.
English words by Margaret Fullerton, from Voices of America by Wolfe, Krone, and Fullerton. (c) 1963 Follett Publsihing Company.
It is a cheerful, bouncy song which I immediately liked and have decided that the best of my instruments on which to play it is the autoharp.
With one or two "fluffs", I hope you enjoy this one.
