A brief discussion on why I think autofiction isn't really a thing in literature. Employing the words of an author whose writing is often dubbed autofiction and she won the Nobel Prize for Literature and rebuts the notion she writes autofiction. Then I briefly debunk the notion of Historical Fiction for good measure, in my ongoing campaign to do away with all genre labels in literature.
