I made this video using a datamoshing script I wrote in Perl. The audio is intentionally horrible.
Because the datamoshing is done automatically, I was able to leave in all the original I-frames before processing, resulting in a higher degree of moshedness compared to manual methods that involve encoding the video with large gaps between I-frames.
Unfortunately, this also means a large number of frames are removed, so the video ended up being about 20 seconds shorter than the original. In the future, the script will replace I-frames with adjacent P-frames to preserve the frame count and allow the original, unaltered audio to be used.
The original song and video belong to their respective owners; none of which are me.
