ABOUT THIS MESSAGE
In this message, "Authority That Takes Territory: In The Name Of Jesus," Pastor John Galloway opens Mark 1:21-28 to show us what happened when Jesus walked into the synagogue at Capernaum and taught with an authority the people had never heard before. When an unclean spirit cried out, Jesus spoke one command and the enemy had to bow. That same authority has been given to you.
Pastor John reminds us that our most valuable possession is our knowledge of God, and that spiritual warfare is over what you believe and what you know about your God. Taking territory begins in your mind, and when we truly know Him, we begin to take territory and the enemy loses ground. Darkness only has leverage in your life when it remains hidden, but the God you serve binds what binds you, torments what torments you, and destroys what has destroyed you. Through the power of the name of Jesus, you have been given the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy. What Jesus did in His house, you have the right to do in yours.
