Z.B. Steele is a grimdark author who lives in Birmingham, AL, with his wife, daughter, and chocolate lab. He likes his characters grey, his prose purple, and his plots dark.
His biggest inspirations are Joe Abercrombie, Anna Smith Spark, Sebastien de Castell, Anthony Ryan, Patrick Rothfuss, Steven Erikson, and Quentin Tarantino.
When not writing, he can usually be found doing nerdy stuff or arguing about things online that don't matter.
