Authentic Heart: Grief, Anger, and Joy Workshop Conversation
Linda taught belly dance for 25 years and supported women’s bodies and feelings. After her sister died by suicide seven years ago, she felt called to guide grief and anger work. She stresses safe, confidential spaces where emotions come out in layers. The workshop welcomes men and women.
Many people squash grief and anger, fearing a never-ending flood. Linda notes cultural silencing, myths about tidy “five stages,” and how tight bodies reflect stuck feelings. Voice, movement, and ritual help release. She uses a shamanic container so groups can safely process and invite more joy.
How the Authentic Heart workshop works
Held monthly on the third Saturday at Tribal Vibes Wildfire (a cozy, womb-like studio). Four hours include sharing, partner listening, journaling, and movement: an anger song (adult tantrum) and a grief song. Bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, water, journal, and an old T-shirt to rip.
True support means holding space—not fixing. The circle is confidential, often ends with more ease and joy, and can free ancestral patterns. Cost is $66. In-person and online options exist. Contact Linda at 306-537-8890 or bdwl@me.com. Men are encouraged to attend, too.
