September is #BiodiversityMonth, a chance to celebrate Australia’s unique wildlife and ecosystems, and highlight the importance of protecting it.
But what does “protecting biodiversity” actually mean? For us, it’s:
- Creating safe havens where native animals can thrive free from predators
- Reintroducing species once lost from landscapes
- Caring for Country alongside First Nations partners
- Restoring habitats and recovering ecosystems at scale
- Using science to guide decisions that make a lasting impact
We have a 10-year plan in place to help us achieve even more of this on a greater scale. It’s ambitious and it’s only possible with the support of people who care about Australia’s natural heritage as much as we do.
