In episode #4 I show the process it took to make my All in One Bed I like to call it. This space and cabinet needed to be very functional.
#1 I needed to have a place to store my surfboards inside and out of the way.
#2 A spot to have drawers for my clothes, kitchenware and food.
#3 A good amount of counter top space to cook on.
#4 The biggest bed I could fit!
I believe I achieved all of the above functions in one cabinet with leaving a decent amount of room in the rest of the van. It took nearly 3 weeks to build since I was moving around a lot between friends places here in Australia, but it is working great now!

ABOUT ME I grew up in a cabinet shop and was born to be a woodworker. In the past few years when work slowed in the custom cabinet industry, I converted a few friend's Vans and SUV's so they had more storage for adventuring, work, or just the weekend beach getaway. Before I knew it I had my own business making people's ideas come to life. I design and build all kinds of custom woodwork and vehicles here at my shop in Huntington Beach, California! Please email me solidwoodworx@gmail.com for more information.
