Mark “Jamo” Jamieson of Jamo Designs has been developing knitting patterns for several years and has become
quite prominent as a “shadow knitting” (aka illusion knitting) designer and teacher. Recently awarded
“Australian Knitting Designer of the year” for 2026 at the Australian Yarn Show, Jamo has been highlighted

Mark has also recently devleoped a Yarn Brand called “The House Dye”. We are based in Adelaide South Australia which is a premier wine producing region for Australia. The house dye uses premium fibre blends to create a tantalizing palette for connoisseurs !

We were also finalists for Australian Yarn Store of the Year 2026 at the Australian Yarn Show for our Adelaide Based Yarn Store called “Skein Machine”.
