Last year, I revisited the first Australian feedlot I worked in back in 2004.
I came as a Filipino worker, full of hope and responsibility. What I was given back then was more than work—it was trust, belief, and the chance to grow. That trust shaped who I am today.
Years later, despite no longer being part of that workplace, I was warmly welcomed and given the opportunity to tour the feedlot and create educational content for learning and sharing. Moments like this remind us that trust built on integrity truly stands the test of time.
The lessons remain clear:
Responsibility is lived daily.
Trust is earned, not demanded.
Character outlives any position.
Some places teach you how to work.
Others teach you how to live.
This was one of them.
