We are the Writers Festival for a reason. For over 28 years the Austin Film Festival has gathered the best and brightest minds in Hollywood and connected them with the undiscovered talent that comes through our competitions.
Past entrants have signed with major agencies and had their scripts optioned, acquired and produced by signatory production companies. The judges at AFF include professional writers and representatives from major studios and companies including representatives from Circle of Confusion, ABC Studios, Paradigm Agency, Lit Entertainment, Nickelodeon, Escape Artists at Sony, Seven Bucks, Kaplan/Perrone Entertainment, Energy Entertainment, APA, United Talent Agency, Creative Artists Agency, William Morris Entertainment, and Sony Pictures Animation among many others.
Furthermore, Semifinalists and Finalists’ loglines and contact information will be included in the annual Producers Book distributed to a growing list of over 900 agents, managers, producers, and other industry professionals.
