Austal Hull 419, FSTR for Fjord Line of Norway has been launched at Austal Philippines shipyard in Balamban, Cebu. The 109 metre catamaran is the largest high speed aluminium ferry ever constructed in the Philippines and the largest (by volume) ever constructed by Austal, worldwide. The ship can transport 1200 passengers at up to 40 knots and features the largest vehicle carrying capacity of any ferry constructed by Austal - 404 cars across two decks.
