Dan wanted to freshen up his garage space because he is sick of the old pavers in his garage. So he contacted Sleek Space Garage Flooring for some options that would suit his needs. He decided on the ULTRATUFF Diamond Garage tiles so it was easy to clean and would match his house.
Order these from Sleek Space was easy, just measure the length of your space and the width, choose the pattern you want and they do the rest for you. They even have printable planners to use to help map out you needs.
So first impression, very light weight and look great. Dan got ULTRATUFF Garage Floor Tile in Grey Space and Silver Grey colours, with a bordered edge and the edge capping on the end to finish it off. They come in 12 different colours, which is great choose.
Now it can handle Dan standing on it and rolled the cars all over it as well and no issues. The team at Sleek Space told us the tiles are rate to heavy usage but it would be recommended to have a piece of ply wood for Jacks, Engine Hoist and Heavy shelving over 500kg.
So how easy is to laid, well that is the easy part. It is extremely easy to interlock the tile with a rubber mullet when laying the file. You will need to following tools, these are:
1. Rubber Mullet / Hammer
2. Jigsaw or Radial Saw
3. Measuring tape - to measure that your border will be even.
As far as time, we should allow for a day to install, depending on your motivation levels. Dan started at 1.30pm and finished around 6.30pm. Overall the process was easy.
Now the finished project, Dan loves it as it changed the look of his garage 100% and the cars look fantastic sitting on the top of these UULTRATUFF Diamond Garage Floor Tiles from Sleek Space. We have running all his equipment and tools on it and its passed the tests. Dan highly recommends it, so I am doing mine next. I am think that I will do mine in the ULTRAGRID as I have concrete floor in my garage. Time to get order for my project.
