Aurora has returned at twilight to Iceland for another , albeit weaker, substorm compared to last night, all the result of both the arrival of Jan 8ths Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) and a High Speed Stream of particles eminating from a large earth facing coronal hole. Filmed on January 11, 2026 outside of Reykjavik (Blafjöll turn), ca 20:10 pm.
