YOOOOO guys I’m back. Huge 3 month hiatus. So many things happened. Last weeks of college, moving out, getting adjusted back home. All that fun stuff. But then something happened recently. I was in the middle of drawing a thumbnail for this remix and all of my iPads data got wiped. So I had to find a backup from December 2023 and import it to my iPad. Then had to redraw the thumbnail 😔 I ended up changing the thumbnail completely. Didn’t like how my old one turned out mostly. It was the interior of the Aurora area, when your inside the ice caves. And that didn’t really give the vibe that the remix does. So part of me is glad this wipe happened because it gave me the opportunity to make something even better 😎
As for the remix. I had to make this song by ear since there aren't any midis of it online that I could find so if you would like the midi just let me know! Also, I really don’t know what compelled me to remix this song in particular. One day I was just listening to the Return to Dream Land soundtrack and this song came up, then tons of memories started flooding in. So I decided to remix it 😎 It’s an amazing song, beautifully arranged. And the sound selection is genius. That lead “whistle” sound is so cool to me. I used it in my Nutty Noon remix as well. So this time I didn’t have to remake that sound. The percussion was a big deal for me. At first it sounded strange and too hard hitting. But then I switched over to more “little” sounds to give it a more compact and sort of childlike/playful sound. Then the guitar comes in which totally switches things up on you hahaha 😮💨😉
