Its been one year since Ive gotten into making electronic dance music. WoodenToaster was my biggest influence starting out, so it only seems natural for me to do a remix of the song that started it all. This song doesnt have very heavy compression so that the orchestral bits will shine through, so like all my orchestral be sure to listen a bit louder than you normally do for the best effect and to hear all the details
Please note, youtubes downsampling the audio bitrate to 128kbs regardless of video quality. To hear the song in its full glory Id recommend grabbing a download or listening on Soundcloud.com/aurelleah I never thought Id hit the one year mark of EDM or that Id come this far, Im glad I stuck with it though.

Featured in the game One finger death punch 2 (OFDP2), an intense, upbeat melodic electrostep/dubstep/drumstep style song with some spine-shaking bass and catchy melodies.
So this was originally gonna have vocals but the mix wound up being far too full for them. . Its supposed to have a Cant stop kinda feel, ya know?
This one was a lot of fun to make, but it was hell to mix. I was 14 hours into mixing and decided to just pack up what I had and move on, so if there are parts that arent quite right, Im sorry, the changes I was making werent helping, only sucking the life out of it. (44 hours spent on the track total)
This song began as me finishing one of ModernBards works-in-progress. After investing a ton of time into it it wound up sounding nothing like his song, and thus released it as my own. I still retained some of the industrial percs and two synth patches from his project file, so its worth mentioning that without him, I wouldnt have had the song I wound up with. Check out his stuff! I did my best, but the song was super hard to remix because the only audio we had available was the soundtrack and surround sound from the movie leak. As a result, theres still sound effects mixed in and its still a bit dirty in terms of vocals in the chorus especially. I cant stress enough how hard this song was to remix. Luna struggled with feelings of jealousy and inadequacy on a daily basis. Her hard work went unappreciated, and the envy she felt eventually become so strong that it began to affect her deep within. It caused changes in her being, and begun the dark transformation that left her a monster. A nightmare hellbent on destroying the world she desired to please so badly.
The synth is designed to represent her struggle with the corruption, while the guitar is her giving into it.

Elemental was my first attempt at Electronic Dance, and the original mix left a lot to be desired. Ive learned a lot since I first made it, and I decided to use my new knowledge to remix it. I fixed a lot of the issues with the volume levels, made it significantly louder, fixed some drum parts that were a bit weird sounding and balanced it out.
I also updated the download file, so Id highly recommend you re-download it if youve downloaded it in the past.
