Before the internet, news was distributed by teletype. Peter R. Testan owned radio station WBYN in Brooklyn NY, and used a teleprinter, most likely a Teletype model 15, to get his station's news. On August 8th, 1945 the following news feed came over the wire, and Testan realized that it must be saved. We're glad he did. This printout is now part of the AWA's Peter R. Testan Collection.
