Hey guys, Rinette here. I'd like to say thank you to everyone who comment/rated my Rabbit Hole trailer. The feedback was amazing and I really appreciate all of it :D
Since I've only been vidding contest related stuff, I felt like making something short and fluffy for a change -hence the song choice. I finally caught up on Haven (yay!) so I decided to make a vid for it, and Audrey/Duke kinda took over. Although I don't ship them romantically yet (Audrey/Nathan is tops), I do adore them as friends. They have fun together, and I enjoy the quirky little things Duke does to showoff around Audrey (like touching the ceiling ;P). However, the end of the 'Wendigo' episode did take them to a whole new, serious, level for me. I LOVE the shot where she walks away from him and the truck -it's beautiful.

Okay, so here is my entry into the Tears round of the FTtL.
I decided to choose Jack ONeill from Stargate SG-1 to do a character study on.
The traumatic event he experienced (which impacts the characters POV throughout the series) is when his son kills himself with Jacks personal handgun.
What I tried to do with this video was to show the different aspects of Jack.
During the verse, I went with the POV and had everyone on the outside watching him and discussing his emotional state.
Then in the chorus I switched it to Jack relating to everyone elses pain, because he had gone through it too. At the same time he doesnt believe God is there to save them hes lost and doesnt understand why such bad stuff happens.
Throughout, I tried to give a sense of how Jack feels guilty and blames himself for his sons death. Because of this, hes become cynical and he doesnt trust anyone enough to open up about his pain.
In the end he can never forgive himself but he has to learn to live with the past while looking on to the present.
I dont know what everyones response will be to this. I felt very depressed while watching it all together for the first time.
Id like to thank MitsuCat2 for introducing me to this song. Ever since I saw her Dean video to this, I just couldnt get it out of my head :)
