Get ready for swatches, speed reviews, a little bit of application footage and even a DECLUTTER! (Plus an attempt at "I'm cold" makeup.)
I like having a lot of makeup because it gives me variety. But I only have one face, and makeup expires eventually, so there has to be a limit. I'm on a no buy so I stopped purchasing makeup this year and have been testing everything I have to prepare for a slow and thoughtful declutter.
But I've also been lucky enough to have some beautiful makeup decluttered to me.
When friends and family gave me cosmetics in the past, I used to simply take them home and store them with the rest of my collection. But I've realized that it's all beginning to add up. So I've made a decision: Makeup no longer automatically gets to have a home here. It has to earn its place on my face. So when some beautiful beauty products were decluttered to me this summer, I set them aside in a separate bag so I could test them. And now is the moment of truth: What makeup steals the show and will be allowed to stay? What makeup will fail? Will any of it be so good that it replaces tried and tested products? Watch to find out which lipsticks, blushes, highlighters and eyeshadows are going to stay, and which ones will have to go.
