Input lag is coming from the laptop to hdmi signal, I found after recording this video that using an RGB connection fixes this issue. A video of this will be uploaded tomorrow.

Apparently changing the signal on the TV from 120Hz to 60Hz also fixes this issue. (This is a 3DTV, so the signal conversion is pulling out more processing power on the TV than required, causing input lag)
