Since a project is never truly done, I decided to give my NeoPixel PC lights project a facelift with a fully soldered protoboard and a Pro Trinket to replace the breadboarded circuit and Arduino Uno.
To the PC DIY people who may not be familiar with DIY electronics: this is just one way that the NeoPixel platform can be used. They're addressable RGB LEDs that are fully open source and affordable. If coding isn't your thing there's a ton of example code out there to get the same, if not better, effects that all the big companies offer.
