Before going blind myself, I never really thought about how a blind person could watch something on TV or at the movie theater. So I had even less of an idea of what audio description was. After checking out content by other blind creators did I finally find out about it. Now I can’t watch any film or show without AD. It’s become a crucial accessibility feature for me. Not only that, but I’m also now working in audio description as well.
