Overhauling my entire setup (again), this time trying to get rid of all audio interfaces and effects processors, and going back to the good old USB microphone approach, but now incorporating Waves VST plug-ins that I'm applying in real time via OBS. I'm also now recording in 4K again (using an Elgato Facecam 4K webcam) and have found a way to resolve the audio/video sync issues I've had in the past. Using a Shure MV7i USB microphone here, with just the acoustic sound of the guitar (but this mic can accept a 1/4 inch connection if I want to incorporate pickups). I'm applying real-time noise suppression via Waves WNS and NS1 plug-ins, and doing real-time mastering via Waves L4 Ultramaximizer. I think this setup does not like capirote LOL as it seemed to freak out when I did that and nearly totally muted my audio. Otherwise, though, what are your thoughts on video and audio quality?
