Audi has revived the A2 — the cult aluminium hatchback that lost the brand money on every unit it built in 1999 — as its most efficient electric car ever, at 12.8 kWh/100km. Same silhouette, completely different logic: aerodynamics and smarter production replace the bespoke aluminium space frame of the original.
