Day 2 of the Australian Nationals 2017 in Queensland. Day 2 of the Nationals was mainly focussed on qualifying for the pilots. The field needed to be reduced to the fastest 32 pilots.
Unfortunately Thomas was in the first group and even though the weather was fantastic, the grass was still soaking wet so crashing wasn’t an option. His first qualifying run was hampered with extremely bad video. It was due to a powered quad left on the track from the previous group. From my understanding the pilot was trying to retrieve their quad due to a crash but was told to get off the field or they would be disqualified.
Anyway hope you enjoyed this video. Final part to come . . just need to go through the footage. Will try to get it out before we head off to Muncie for the MultiGP International.
