Matthias random stuff | Attic fiberglass insulation spreading rake @matthiasrandomstuff2221 | Uploaded June 2018 | Updated October 2024, 6 days ago.
It's a miserable job to crawl into the low corners of an attic to spread fiberglass insulation. So I came up with a sort of "rake" that hooks into the insulation and allows me to push it into the corners without getting into the corners myself. Most people use blown-in insulation, but that requires renting a machine, and it would be difficult to keep the insulation from getting too far into the eaves and blocking airflow.
