🐶 RVers… we need to talk about your dogs.

We love dogs. We’ve had dogs. We understand how much they’re part of the family.

But here’s the thing: not everyone at the campground wants to meet your dog.

If your dog is off leash, running into someone else’s site, jumping on people, approaching other pets, or wandering up to strangers — that’s not “being friendly.” That’s putting other campers in an uncomfortable situation.

You never know if someone:
🐾 Is afraid of dogs
🐾 Has a reactive dog of their own
🐾 Has allergies
🐾 Simply doesn’t want an unfamiliar dog approaching them

And saying “Don’t worry, he’s friendly!” doesn’t change that.

Campground etiquette is pretty simple: keep your dog under control, respect other people’s space, and don’t assume everyone wants to meet your pup.

We know this one might ruffle some feathers… 👀
