I have been looking to add a vocal effects pedal to my live setup for a while and have had my eye on the Boss VE-20 due to its features and positive reviews. I finally took the plunge and am so glad I did.
For me the biggest draws were the harmony feature and certain reverbs so I can add some more depth to my loops. Absolutely not disappointed with the whole package. From playing about in rehearsals it seems to be an absolutely great bit of kit. Still yet to take it out on the road but I'm excited to.
I recorded a few songs to give it a whirl. You can see what you think for yourself. Will post more songs soon - will mix it in with the Boss RC-20 as well because that is a lot of fun...especially when I have the loops triggering on both pedals. That is taking some getting my head around though!
