On April 13, 1994, an Atlas I launched from Cape Canaveral's Launch Pad 36B. The payload was the GOES-8 communications satellite. The video shows pre-launch activities and the launch.
The original video's title card incorrectly states this is GOES-1. The payload was named GOES-I until it was deployed, then the name was changed to GOES-8.
