Judge's Review:
"You are in the finals! Congratulations! There were no doubt for you to pass this round; Every judge agreed that you used all the elements that should be in a promo and the final work is amazing. The change of songs, one of the most difficult things to achieve in a trailer, were mixed perfectly and the clips selection was the best. You made it interesting and captivating and that's what a trailer/promo should do to make viewer curious to watch it. We would have prefer if you didn't use coloring since the quality of the clips isn't perfect and, also, we hoped someone could use a "natural" way of approaching clips, but still your promo was really great and we are glad to welcome you in the last three!"

Hey everyone!

Entry for fifth round of BOIT complete! Our task this time was to create a trailer or promo for something. This is the first time I have ever made anything like this, so needless to say this challenge was a bit nerve wrecking.
Now, when I think of a trailer the first thing that pops into my head is something epic. But then I thought well, instead of trying to make this long, involved trailer, why not try something different? Instead of epic, what about bad a**? XD So I chose to make a TV spot/promo for Stargate: Atlantis. I took my inspiration from the Star Trek TV spots that aired when the movie was first released. I wanted this to be like a promo for the next summer blockbuster movie. I'm sure my fellow competitors and the BOIT judges will understand the significance of my release date: August 13 ;P Yes, it was me trying to be clever XD
I don't think there's a whole lot more to say about this...I cut my own songs together which I'm kinda proud of XD...but yeah, that's about it. To the judges, thank you again for passing me through to this round! Once I got the first couple seconds in, I had fun making this ;P I hope it will make you want to see more because everyone should watch this show (even though in the promo it's a...movie...lol)
