Oh after many many many many days of wondering who the hell I'm going to edit for this contest, then wondering what song to edit them on, then a week of preparing it and converting episodes and two days of rendering. I finally finished my entry for this contest. It was a long and difficult road but thankfully not impossible and I finished my first ever entry video.
Anyway, I chose these two out of pure coincidence. The song Russian Roulette popped into my mind while I was wondering what song I used. Then when I listened to it, the lyrics just yelled out these two. I love them both, and I love them together, but in my opinion their love is toxic because well aside from the obvious reasons of them trying to kill each other a few times and she killed his brother. Their relationship is toxic because they simply have zero trust in each other, Athos will never trust her, and Milady rarely gives him reason too. Besides that, Athos never had it in him to truly fight for her, he always talked about how it was his duty to maintain the law and execute his own wife. But when Sylvie was about to be tortured he fought for her and didn't care about the consequences, something he never did for Milady. And my final reason is that after all of the shit they have done to each other, and neither of them forgiving the other. They still have this toxic connection that doesn't allow either of them to move on from the past and let go of all the baggage they have.
But even after all that they are still one of my favourite couples and I still absolutely love them. But that will never mean that I won't admit that all they really did was hurt each other and cause each other pain and I hope I portrayed that in my video. P.S please excuse the clips that had bad quality, unfortunately I'm away now and this was the only quality I was able to find and download quickly because I also had to reprogram my laptop and almost lost my shows all together. So I was out of time and they were very important clips and I wanted to add them to the video.
