In Coming To Faith Through Dawkins, Nick Berryman’s Essay “Coming To Faith via The God Delusion” represents a common experience: finding out that Richard Dawkins gave ill consideration to more advanced arguments for the faith in favor of debunking strawman arguments for the Christian faith. Dawkins’ arguments are loaded with emotional reasoning, not scientific reasoning. Nick’s essay emphasizes how witnessing these flaws led him from atheism to Christianity. Indeed, a reasonable faith is there for all who want to critically examine and come to better understand our world!

Description & reviews of book from publisher:
Editors Denis Alexander and Alister McGrath gather other intelligent minds from around the world to share their startling commonality: Richard Dawkins and his fellow New Atheists were instrumental in their conversions to Christianity.
Despite a wide range of backgrounds and cultures, all are united in the fact that they were first enthusiasts for the claims and writings of the New Atheists. But each became disillusioned by the arguments and conclusions of Dawkins, causing them to look deeper and with more objectivity at religious faith. The fallacies of Christianity Dawkins warns of simply don't exist.
"Lucid as well as exhilarating and wide-ranging."
--Rupert Shortt, Von Hügel Institute, University of Cambridge, and author of God Is No Thing
"Many people, including nonbelievers like me, have found Dawkins's strident atheism upsetting to the point of offensive. I would never have thought that--as Coming to Faith Through Dawkins shows in wonderful detail--for some, Dawkins's rantings were the spur to Christian faith."
--Michael Ruse, Professor of Philosophy Emeritus, University of Guelph, Ontario
"This is a novel book: real-life stories of people who have actually come to faith, not in spite of but through Richard Dawkins. It must be his own worst nightmare!"
--William Lane Craig, Houston Christian University
God Delusions Vs The Bible
New Atheism VS a deeply considered and rich Christian Faith.
On God Delusion: My reading of that book had been both the start and the end of a very short investigation. I had not asked “What would the opposition say?” I wish I had.
Warning signs in The God Delusion. One grew in my mind: Why did Dawkins ruthlessly ridicule anyone who professes a faith. There is a constant pattern of ridicule in The God Delusion, both from his own pen and those he quotes. But Scientific Inquiry is based on calm, logical, analytical interpretation of the evidence. Preconceptions, biases, and emotions are best left at the door. Dawkins seemed to bring a lot of emotion to the discussion.
I found the Bible to be more coherent than I had ever imagined. The Bible is a collection of books authored by different people at different times. And yet is has threads woven through that are hard to explain without a single inspiration. I have found the Bible to be beautifully curated. Some of the passages have a rich architectural structure. I have found the Bible to be more relevant than I ever thought. It describes a humanity that can be simultaneously good and broken. Humanity demonstrates traits of Kindness, creativity, generosity and love. And yet that humanity is flawed – it also demonstrates selfishness, greed, envy, a dangerous disregard for our environment. Self- centeredness is proven true Time and time again. These are timeless truths, evidenced by what we see around and within ourselves.
The Bible teaches that putting your faith in Jesus is the start of a new life. In those who Follow Jesus, God Grows the fruit of the Spirit: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self Control. This has been my experience.

![BIOCHEMIST Converts to Christianity After THIS Discovery
Former atheist and Chemist, Fuz Rana, converts from atheism to Christianity after being stunned by his studies of biochemistry in Graduate school.
When he set out to get his bachelors degree, he saw no reason to believe in God. He was taught that science held all the explanatory power for the complexity and origin of life. Once he got to graduate school, he found that this case was vastly overstated.
Reviewing the Sermon on the Mount led him to faith in Christ specifically, so thats todays reading!

Former atheist and neurosurgeon, Dr. Michael Egnor, who converted from atheism to Christianity after being stunned by his research and practice of brain surgery, reveals the ways in which Neuroscience points to the existence of the soul. Many scientists and doctors believe that there is no such thing as the soul. Dr. Michael Egnor is presents the case that the brain alone does not explain the mind. Using modern neuroscience and his vast surgical experience, he believes there is a spiritual soul that transcends the brain, and in this video he uses fascinating case studies to prove his claim

![Peter Hitchens DESTROYS Atheism With THIS Argument
Peter Hitchens opens by stating that he hates this argument. He says that the opposition reminds him of his adolescent self, the worst person he ever knew. This debate is not serious, its a matter of opinion and thereby a matter of choice. The question, he says, that should be discussed is why we choose what we choose?
[Original from Oxford Union: Peter Hitchens - God DOES Exist: https://youtu.be/VnIH4gomOqc?si=cpgVtnW6ovuIPq30 ]
Quotes Thomas Nagel, in his opinion the most intelligent atheist living today, why is it that me and my fellow atheists want so much for theyre not to be a god?
Based on the knowledge we have, we construct a belief that helps us to discover what we ought to do and how we ought to live and if our actions have significance beyond what we immediately do.
He says that the atheists know that if everyone didnt believe in God there would be a lawless society in which we cannot trust people not to lie, cheat, steal or rape. Without the advantages of Christianity we would lose all faith in people doing the right thing.
