Luke 10:25-37 covers the parable of the Good Samaritan. Why does it conflict with other answers to questions about salvation? Why doesn't it suggest that every human is your neighbor? Why is the Samaritan a more compassionate character than Jesus?

Contrast it with Luke 18, Matthew 19 and Acts 16 and you've got a mess, that neither Jesus nor his followers can reason their way out of.
