Atheism is Untenable - Steve Brule
Note:
With respect to the definition of atheism, I cut the following from my argument before publishing and now I think I should have left it in because it has already come up in the comments:
"It seems to me that self-described “soft” atheists may be better characterized as agnostics, or they may be guilty of “moving the goal posts,” – an accusation they frequently make of theists – when they claim that their disbelief in the existence of God is substantially different from the belief that God doesn't exist."
I'll add that "soft atheists" never stop at "non-belief." That is a smokescreen. They are always positively antagonistic about any concept of the "divine" and are being disingenuous when they move the goal post from traditional atheism to "soft atheism." They are borrowing a shield from agnosticism while they throw pot-shots at theists from the position of hard atheism.
