Update as of 2026: I extremely loathe this game's existence. You can read my thoughts from January 2025 (before the game's release) in the comments section, I'd want to add more to it but what I saw in this footage ended up having the same impression after I've played the full game after release (and a few months with the multiple updates they've put out). tldr; Atelier Yumia is a video game Koei Tecmo made to appeal to a mainstream audience who do not give a flying fuck about complex and systematic systems and anyone who argues that Yumia gameplay is "complex" or "has more depth" definitely are not paying attention to the Atelier IP's evolution of how unique and complex the approaches used to be. This game is what I call Junzo Hosoi's personal commission, filled with his weird injection of personal life crap and a ton of watered down & stale executions of gameplay ideas seen on other mainstream/well-known games from other video game companies. I hate Atelier Yumia with a burning passion and I wish for it to never have a sequel, to suffer through a complete discontinuation of the subseries. I don't know why the negative insights from the JP audience have now been deleted off YouTube, but there are reputable words out there that outlines the severity of Atelier Yumia's horrendous gameplay and horrendous implementation of the Quality of Life in menuing.

Taipei Game Show Demo Build has a 15-minute demo limit, if in case you were wondering why the footage abruptly ends there. The actual game does not have Time Limits if you're still somehow worried lol
