I'm not into gacha games but I'm an Atelier fan and these new character models in 4K is the closest I'll get to remakes for the time being. I'm appreciating the game for what it is. The story has potential too and has some great moments.

I almost beat it on my first try, only 1% of HP left, but I died. So the second try was the right one! Glad I could finally send this one to Niflhel.
Also at 3:35, why didnt Karja jump on the ship like Adol did? If she did that they may have prevented what happened... She should have been able to quickly jump there like Adol did, but instead they had that slow scene, and then Adol got shot... Its like that classic scene where they reach out with their hands, but here there was no need to in order to reach the ship. It felt weird. But thats a nitpick!
Im loving the game so much, such a joy to play a new one from Nihon Falcom (my second favorite studio), its filled with the tender moments between the crew and the wholesomeness that I adore so much from them. Also the theme of the sea is special for me ever since I played Atelier Totori, and Ys X feels very much like Atelier Totori but Action-RPG, with the sea exploration on a ship, all those islands, the Alanya-like harbor towns, etc, Im jubilating.")
