Fight for Life was born at an incredibly turbulent time at Atari and it shows. The game itself was developed (directed, designed and coded) by Francois Bertrand (coming off work on Sega’s Virtua Fighter) and the lack of resources is obvious. Soon after Fight for Life was released, Atari was merged with a hardware production company with the Atari Jaguar and Lynx systems ceasing official production.
