Footage of the current world record score.
This is the sequel to Phoenix and based on the arcade game.. This version only has 3 of the 4 "phases" (the base or mothership is missing) but it does include the game's one really unique phase - the landing corridor. Bill Esquivel found this at a flea market in early 1998, who opened it up and noted it looked like a handmade proto. It was eventually sold to someone else and released in 2003. Unfortunately, the original artwork from the arcade version wasn't used (Dave Exton created the new artwork).
