On November 25th, 2002 my band [velvet] had the honor of opening up for a superstar side project called Eyes Adrift featuring Krist Novoselic of Nirvana, Bud Gaugh of Sublime, and Curt Kirkwood of the Meat Puppets. I grew up fascinated by Nirvana and their music was my largest motivation to pick up a guitar and start a rock band. I consider this show the highlight of my musical career thus far. While not our greatest performance, I will never forget the feeling of sharing the stage with Krist Novoselic of Nirvana, Bud Gaugh of Sublime, and Curt Kirkwood of the Meat Puppets.")
